
Roxana obtained a Juris Doctor degree from Osgoode Hall Law School in 2014, where she was a Division Leader at the Community and Legal Aid Services Programme. Prior to law school, Roxana obtained a High Distinction Business degree at the University of Toronto, with experience as a Research Assistant, Teaching Assistant, and financial auditing at Ernst & Young LLP.
Roxana specializes in family law issues, including separations and wills & estates planning. With over a decade of court experience and mediation/negotiation in all areas of family law, Roxana’s current focus is assisting her clients to strategize their estate planning, drafting and educating clients on cohabitation/marriage contracts, and resolving separation issues quickly outside of court. She is a Certified Collaborative Family Lawyer and a member of various Collaborative Lawyer groups in Ontario. She is a presenter of the MIP Program for family law litigants at the Superior Court of Justice and a mentor/presenter for the Osgoode Women’s Network. Roxana is connected with the Canadian Free Wills Network and Justice Net to ensure that everyone can afford a will. Further, she has developed an affordable online tool for wills, which can be accessed on our website.
In her spare time, Roxana enjoys volunteering and playing tennis. She is a Hall of Fame inductee for her athletics at the University of Toronto where she was captain and MVP of the varsity tennis team, receiving a variety of awards, including the Gordon Cressy Student Leadership Award for outstanding leadership contributions to improving the world and inspiring others to do the same. Roxana believes that she can make a continuous impact through the practice of family law by influencing the future of her clients, their family, and the world around them. Roxana can offer services in the English, Romanian, and Spanish languages.
